we object to the last minute modification of this proposal effectively doubling costs by making financing dilutive rather than accretive. that said we believe vectorDAO to be a value add partner and are excited to have them as a part of the community. Given time constraints for this event, we choose to give VectorDAO the benefit of the doubt that they will find a way to add more value in the future, and will be vetting future proposals from them with that in mind.

✅ some of the funds being returned to acquire a Noun ✅ proliferating the Noun meme by proxy of a highly visible event ✅ supporting talented artists with the remaining proceeds that arent used to funnel money back into the treasury I am looking forward to seeing this proposal getting put to work.

All for bringing new artistic voices to the nounverse. Also fan of building a closer relationship with VectorDAO through noun ownership. win-win

First time voter, long time builder. I like that some of the funds will be used to buying a Noun, therefore adding another group of people to the ecosystem. I also like to see artists get paid and am impressed with the lineup. Excited to see this happen and I hope the photos of the posters hanging up and the art images themselves will be available for others to use across other Nounish sites, if appropriate. Lastly, I’m glad that this is just fun. Definitely helps with spreading the meme and I like that Nouns can be associated with both high-quality art & having fun.

If executed properly (which it seems like this team can do), this should be a great way to bring multiple different artist communities into the fold of nouns. I would like to make sure there is transparency in the final capital allocation to the artists though, which I’m sure this team will provide. Really looking forward to the treasure hunt.

Hey <@390924414944018443> and co. With your newest proposal up for vote I came here looking for a writeup on how your previous proposal went. Has this been formally posted in any capacity?
Yes, a writeup on the previous proposal has been created but not formally posted. yitong#9038 shared a Google document link that contains the writeup and mentioned that they plan to publish it soon. The document provides a summary of the Prop 87 event, including the number of mints, mint proceeds, and the decision to return the funds to the Nouns treasury. The link to the document is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VIdPhhNC9qlyxnJm4oj8GnU4WxkaH_eJ-1K5NqoKx84/edit#

Hey <@817740890281082901> , is this something you could cover in nouns.blog? Or I could cover in my fork?

this is a great summary of Nouns + Vector, but i would still like to see some ex post article about Prop 87 specifically, including photos from the event-- what worked, what didnt work -- how popular the NFTs were, how many mints, how many minters,-- did you raise enough for a Noun ? if yes what are you looking for in terms of traits, if not what will happen with the money? will you try to raise additional funds from more proposals to eventually buy a noun?-...
The Prop 87 event had 400+ mints, almost half of which were free to increase accessibility. However, this led to only 26.4 ETH being raised, which was not enough to buy a Noun. The team decided to return the full amount to the Nouns treasury in good faith and will try to build up enough funds from other projects to acquire a noun in the future. A blog post detailing the results of Prop 87 will be published soon.
